A discourse given 8-Mar-1863. On page 100, Brigham Young says that
all humanity should "submit to God, to his ordinances and to His rule;
serve Him, and cease [our] quarrelling, and stay the shedding of each
other's blood." He goes on to say that he wasn't pro-slavery
(especially after they had threatened his life at bayonnet-point), that
some whites would be cursed (unless they repented) for their awful
treatment of blacks, that Joseph Smith had not been proven guilty in a
court of law (in 47 attempts), told the Saints to purify themselves
before God and one another, and then blessed all who "[wished] well to
[God's] kingdom on earth".
Why do you ask?

Brigham Young, again, this time 19-Aug-1866. Page 269 is mostly
about plural marriage. Among other things he states that those who
reject the principle, when it is offered, cannot obtain full
exaltation. He expressed his opinion that if it ever came down to
rejecting polygamy or rejecting statehood that Utah would never become
a state. But it should also be noted that on the previous page he said
that God might reveal "by and by" that it was not to be practiced any
longer and (should that happen) God would "put it away that it will not
be known in the Church". He also stated that he was there when the
revelation was first given and that he foresaw the hardship and
persecution it would bring the Church.
Your point?

BY again, this time 8-Aug 1852. The discourse touches upon various
Mormon distinctives, including the difference between us and other
flavors of mainstream Christianity in regards to salvation. He alludes
to several passages of scripture, most notably 1 John 3:2 - "but we
know that, when [God] shall appear, we shall be like him" in teaching
the Mormon principle of Eternal Progression.

BY yet again, 9-Apr-1852. Tells us that Christ is the Son of God,
not the Holy Ghost. The oft-misunderstood yet oft-quoted Adam-God
theory.
bestRegards, Guy.
