Not "could have been", Are wrong.   The difference between creationists and
genuine scientists, is that scientists can admit to being wrong, and retract
claims that have proven to be wrong.   Being proven wrong is part and parcel
of science, and is how science advances.   Creationists rarely admit to
being wrong, and almost never retract false claims.
