Wrong.

No, it doesn't. Punctuated Equilibrium is in agreement with darwinian
mechanisms. The difference is that fossilization is imperfect, and in
episodes of fairly rapid evolution, all the intermediates are not going to
be represented.

Not suprisingly, your opinion is wrong. Many transitional fossils have been
found. PE deals with the pattern of fossils and why there are relatively
few intermediates between species.
