Precisely.
If we look at the Moors Murderers, then on many occasions they have tried to
commit suicide, and have refused food, and the right to die has been denied
them because they have to serve life. To them, it would seem, their life
sentences have been less merciful than a quick shot in the arm.
So don't let's listen to the liberals who prefer long sentences on
humanitarian grounds.
The reason certain people (ie. what I call fiscal people) like prisons is
that prisons are all state run institutions, pumping up the budgets of
governments which they love, and reducing the responsibility of the legal
mafia by making it impossible for them to execute the wrong people, seeing
that they seem incompetent to stop sentencing the wrong people.
So all the Government types and the lawyer types, these homo fiscusses who
just bloodsuck off the rest of us with their taxes and their outrageous
legal fees, love to keep the prison system going. Also the more appeals
there are, the more the lawyers love it, and you can't appeal when you're
dead. They don't care about whether the client is innocent or not, they can
be as guilty as anyone, and they still get a lawyer, and they get off too,
if they're rich enough. All the lawyers care about is 'will someone pay my
fee?'. Or, in the rare cases when they do pro bono, 'will we get a lot of
popular exposure?' or 'do I fancy my client and if so can I get them to pay
me that way?''
All this dross about how much more it costs to kill them is an outright lie,
sent out to cover Government's and lawyers' interest.
I could arrange it on a budget of about 1000 USD per convict, just send 'em
over. I'll do a deal with Putin, he has plenty of capacity. They can go to
Chechnya and fight for Mother Russia a bit before they die, if they like
serial killing so much.
All the legal starlings on the wire lining up in their pecking order to get
paid - for little meaningless pieces of paper they rarely even bother to
spell correctly. If you don't let that scum at the trough, then the whole
thing gets a lot cheaper.
But Madame Hirt buys into their mincing propaganda machine wholesale, retail
and on the commodity market.
It's loving, you see. Loving and intelligent. Not unloving, stupid and
trollish, like we are.
