Hi:
It may be a waste of resources, but this is not 1993, and usenet has
changed a bit since then. Today, we have multiple posters posting
identical multi-gigabyte files, sometimes on the same day, in some of
the larger multimedia groups. If you could eliminate the identical
posting of just one of those files, you would accomplish more in that
single day than you could ever hope to accomplish by getting everyone
to snip in this group.
Just because someone honors another person's request not to snip does
not mean that they are uneducated, timid, or cowering to anything. For
me, it is more important to help other people to stay happy than to
save a few bytes of space. Of course, that could change of I go off my
meds. Just kidding; I do not take medication. :)
