Nice test, nastboy. The Flying Nun? :-)
I use both Agent and XNews. Xnews is simple to use and combines all
parts and d/l can be interrupted during d/l and will restart where it
left off and it will complete a file even when parts missing. Agent
does not d/l part files that are combined and if a large file of
several parts is interrupted whilst d/l, or if it finds a segment
missing, the file is not d/l and the file is then marked as
unavailable. Agent is easy enough to use when you get to know it. (I
use a very early Agent...maybe newer versions do the same as XNews,
but I tried a newer version and it did a lot of things I didn't like
so I went back to my old simple version and no more problems).
I tend to use XNews for large files and Agent for the smaller files
and jpgs
Hope this helps.
