Solomon's Private File #330
These stories about Stephen and Solomon take place starting in
1950's. Stephen wrote about his life in letters to a penpal, and then
in a secure blog, in case he lost his memory again, in the master
computer in his school for gifted students, which he started attending
in 2016 in a new incarnation, until his death. Now his son Solomon is
attending the same school, and is writing in his own secure blog for
his future incarnations.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Solomon is 30 in this story, in the Fall of 2056.
Solomon's Private File #330 "Children Caught In The Act"

In a small community in Virginia, in the evening, I said in the ear
of a 15 year old boy, "Pete, I'm Solomon. Only you can hear me. You can
talk to me in this situation by strongly thinking words to me. I have
some advice to give you, while you're waiting for the police to come
and get you. Will you listen?" He said, "Yes." I said, "You know your
parents will know about this." He said, "Yes. They're going to be very
mad at me." I said, "Well, they're not totally happy. Yes, I told them.
Better from me, than the police. Faster, too, so they can prepare what
they're going to do about it, with the police." He said, "Oh! That's a
good idea!" I said, "Thanks. I have a few." He tried not to grin. I
said, "Your father is a lawyer, and your mother works for the FBI. They
are NOT sissies. So, they're going to fight for you. I like that." He
felt some love.
I said, "To make that work, you have to do and say the right things.
Don't say anything to anybody why you're being arrested, not ANYTHING,
except to your father, and only after he tells you, you can. Got it?"
He said, "Yes." I said, "And when you do talk to him, make it a full
confession. Don't hold anything back. Then tell him the truth you are
realizing now. You were incredibly stupid." He almost laughed, and
said, "That's SO true! Why did I do that?" I said, "You will know, when
you think back and remember how you felt. And one other thing. You
might have heard of this saying. The reason why we aren't wise, is
because we don't want to be. Sometimes the thrill and the challenge of
doing something bad, in hope of getting away with it, and testing
yourself and them with that, can be hard to resist. You KNOW I
understand that very well." He tried not to grin, and said, "Yes I do."
I said, "But it's foolish to do it without taking proper precautions,
and more so, for not considering the possible consequences. That's
called risk and consequences management. The part of your brain that
does that, isn't yet fully developed, but you know that's not an
excuse."
He said, "Aww, that's too bad." I said, "Absolutely! How to deal with
your parents, next. Accept full responsibly. Tell them you were stupid,
and you're ashamed by that, and what you did, and for thoughtlessly
hurting them. You know you did." He said, "I feel really bad about
that." I said, "I know. Show them that. They're good people, not just
your parents. You're very lucky to have them. You know they're going to
have to punish you for this, and that will hurt them, too." He said, "I
know." He tried not to cry. I said, "Best to accept it as right and
proper. Take it like a man, and you'll impress them. Well, and me, too.
Take full responsibility, and promise to make yourself a better man
from the experience. I think you will, too." He said, "I will!"
I said, "And you need to apologize to the store people for stealing.
Later, though. Next. Treat the police with respect. They have one of
the toughest jobs in the world, and risk their lives every day in it.
get it." I said, "So, call them sir and ma'am, and be very polite. If
they question you, tell them you would have to speak to your parents
first. They have to allow that. It's the law. Being nice in bad
situations can help a lot more than angry people realize." He almost
smiled. I said, "Best not to tell the police that I'm involved in this.
Your parents can know later, if you want to tell them." He said, "Will
you stay with me when the police take me?" I said, "If you want, yes."
He said, "Thank you!" I said, "You're welcome. You see the lights. No
siren. Disappointed?" He tried not to chuckle.
The police came in, and talked to the store manager. They took Pete
into custody, but didn't cuff him. They put him in a holding cell in
the local police station. His parents arrived there, soon after. The
boy followed the instructions very well. He was released into their
custody, with a summons to appear in court the next business day. They
didn't say anything on the way home. Then he told them what I had
coached him to say. They were very impressed. The mother said, "Solomon
told us about the situation. Did he tell you anything?" He grinned, and
said, "He did! Great advice, like not talking to anybody until you say
I can. He reminded me about how much I hurt you with this, and I'm VERY
sorry!" He cried, and they hugged them. He said, "What's Mikey going to
think about me?" Father said, "You need to explain it to him, like you
did to us. Do you think you can do that?" He said, "No, but I will."
Some smiles. Then he looked distracted.
Mother said, "Is Solomon speaking to you now?" After a few seconds,
he said, "Yes. A little help about talking to Mikey. He's so smart! He
knows everything!" She said, "Yes he does. He knows how thankful we are
for his help." Pete said, "He said he knows. He left. I feel kind of
empty." She said, "He knows everything. He's always with us. He doesn't
like to interfere, because it's not good for us. We need to learn from
our mistakes, not be protected from making them. I know that's hard to
accept sometimes, but that's what God wants, so we can learn to be
better people." He said, "But why did he do it this time?" She said, "I
work at the FBI. We've worked with him. More like, he does what he
wants, and we like it." Grins. She said, "He helps our Special Agents
who are in trouble, and does some counseling, too. So, he considers us
something like part of the family. That could be why he helped this
time, in what is a very small thing to him. And he loves kids. You know
what he does with the FBI is secret, right?" He said, "I do! I'll keep
it, I promise!" She said, "I know you will." More hugs. Father said,
"You'll have a lot of time to do that, while you're grounded." He said,
"Aww, Dad!" All grinned.
She asked to see me in my Department office. I closed the door, and
we hugged. After sitting, she said, "Thank you very much for your help.
We can see the change in him. More responsible, and his younger brother
respects him more. There had been a little problem with that." I said,
my finger at her, and she smiled, and said, "Right. Privacy. I think
you do." I said, "Thousands of children a day decide to kill
themselves. I save most of them. Right. I can't physically prevent it.
I hope you never know how much that hurts me." We shared our tears in
our hug with love.
George said to me, "There's more to that. He special?" I said, "To
the time line, yes. I don't yet know why. A feeling." He said, "The
Boss?" I said, "Some feelings are from Him, and some are from what you
could call the Super Enlightened state. Patterns, and such." He said,
"Oh! Makes sense. Thanks."
A man was whipping his son, in a upper middle class home in Ankara,
Turkey. I shifted to be next to him, and said, "Sir, I request a
private conversation with you." He gulped loudly, and said, "Solomon!
Yes, in the other room." We went there. I said, "Did you do what he
did, when you were his age?" He was about to lie, and I slightly shook
my head. He sighed, and said, "Yes, I did those things." I said, "And
were you beaten for that?" He said, "I was." I said, "Did that make you
stop?" He said, thoughtfully, "It did not." I said, "Didn't it make you
defiant, and do it more?" He said, "It did." I said, "Is that what you
want to happen now?" He said, "It is not, but I know no other way." I
said, "You do. That you don't choose to do it, is that because you let
your anger rule you, because it feels good to do that, to relieve your
life's frustrations?"
He clearly wanted to deny that, but knew I wouldn't accept the lie.
He said, "I think you could be correct." I said, "Now that you know
this, are you going to be doing the same, or are you going to change
your ways?" He said, "I must change." I said, "Is it because of fear of
me, or because it is right?" He said, "You know I have some fear, but
it is right that I should change. What I have been doing will not make
things better, but worse for all. That must change. I do NOT like being
a fool, and showing that to my son. Thank you Solomon, for your help."
I said, "You know he's listening." He grinned, but not so the boy could
see, and said, "Yes. That does deserve punishment." We heard the boy
run and hide. He said, loud enough so the boy could hear, "But he's
be encouraged to make a different choice. If he keeps spying on people
so it becomes a part of him, that could cause the end of his life
someday, with a person who wants to end that practice permanently." He
said, "Well said! I must agree." I said, "Such rules of behavior are
not established to inconvenience children, but to help them to stay
alive, and to learn to live better. Some children are less able to
understand that, than others. How great the understanding of your son
is in this, will only be shown in actions, for words are just words."
He said, "You are wise!" I said, "We all can be, if we choose to." I
bowed, and shifted out.
He went to find his son, who came out of hiding, and said, "That was
really HIM?" He said, "It was. I know. A big surprise! He is the wisest
man. A Prophet of God. He was here for US! I think we should keep this
secret. Yes, I know you want to tell your friends, but will they
believe you? Will they treat you well because of that?" He said, "Oh! I
understand. What he said about rules for children. I think I understand
it better. And you're wise, too!" They hugged with love, and the man
was sending his strong feeling of gratitude to me.
George said, "You're allowing the monitoring of these things, for us.
Added to the curriculum. Well expressed. Thanks." I said, "You're
welcome."
I shifted to a boiler room in the basement of a large 'public' school
in England, outside of London. I said to the mostly naked boys there,
"One thing that's a little confusing about this. Here, public schools
are actually private schools. It doesn't make sense." One of the boys
laughed, while he and the other boy were getting dressed in a hurry. I
said, "That's not going to help. Somebody's coming, before you were
about to." The other one laughed. I said, "If you're quiet, he won't
know you're here. I'll let you know when it's er, safe. He won't see
us. Good thing, or your things would shock him. As if he doesn't know
they exist." Suppressed giggles.
A man came in, muttering to himself about thieving boys, and
inspected the place. Then he left. I said, "He thinks you're thieves,
when all you're doing is stealing kisses. Well, and that. Did you know
he can smell that?" One said, "I didn't think of it." I said, "Can't
find enough privacy to er, play as you want?" One said, "For us younger
boys, it's like that. I think it's so we'll be hungry for when the
older boys want us." The other boy looked at him in admiration, "Jolly
good reason!" I said, "I think you give the older boys a little too
much credit in forethought." They laughed. I said, "You need to be more
careful. What they'll do to your arse won't be nice. Do you think some
of them like to whip you?" One said, "I think they all do!" I said,
"So, don't give them the pleasure of doing that to you. Yes, be cruel
to them." Grins.
harm in it. Where you do it, which could cause trouble for you, is the
problem." He said, "Did you do it?" I said, "My school is set up
something like this one, with living, but with no whipping. It wouldn't
work. We all feel what each one of us feels. But that makes what we
did, like what you do, so much more er, interesting. And in a big
group, wow!" They were surprised, and delighted. I said, "We all love
each other, so it's only natural to share that physically. Not against
the rules, either. Just no back door." They nodded. I said, "Nobody is
forced, because all would know that. And we never sleep alone." They
had tears. I hugged them together, with love, and they squirted in
seconds.
I said, "I think you know something about how we feel about it." More
wows. I said, "I'll clean us up. I know, convenient." Grins. I said,
"Lonely at night?" They nodded. I said, "These crystal crosses are for
you, and only work for you. They have in them what you feel for each
other. Lonely at night, hold it in your hand, and you won't be. Wish
for more then, and you might need to do some cleaning a few minutes
later. But you won't have to. The crystal will do it for you, if you
ask it to. No, I've never done this with crystals before. Yes,
strange." Grins and giggles. Is said, "If the crystal goes missing,
when you're alone, wish hard for it, with your hand open, and there it
will be." They took them, feeling a lot of different emotions. One
and he did, on the lips. Then his friend did. I said, "Did it jump when
you did that?" He said, proudly, "Yes it did!" More giggles. I said,
"He won't be back today, but you have other things you should be doing.
In a few minutes. Take care of yourselves, and each other. Never forget
I love you." I faded away.
They just stood there, staring at where I had been. One said, "He
loves us, truly!" The other said, "He does! Is it alright we love him?"
The other said, "God said we should." He said, "But this way?" The
other said, "He said it's natural for people who love each other." They
looked at each other, and kissed passionately, and with tears of
happiness.
George also had tears, when he said to me, "That was beautiful! How
you must love to do that!" I said, "Helping people continue to love, is
a blessing we should all share. I'm not allowing monitoring these
things just for the record, you know." We hugged and kissed with love.
It was the same with Galya at home. And with Hawk in contact. All that
wasn't too bad.
