Tell CH I am sorry he cant get cut in half by a 32 pounder cannon ball LOL
but things have changed a bit LOL. We get up to all kinds of real silly
things, and it sure keeps me active. I also spent three years in Antarctica
and my slides and standard 8 movies keep them happy for hours. I still cant
convice them that the guy all wrapped up with a big beard is really me in my
younger days. Incidentally, and dont think I am bragging, but in 1969 there
was a serious accident during the Antarctic winter during which I was
responsible for co-ordinating a rescue by Ice-Breaker etc with the U.S.,
G.B. and the Argentinian Navies, during which a number of British scientists
were rescued from one of the British Bases which was up till then thought to
be an inactive volcano, but it suddenly erupted. Anyway, to be modest I have
here in my house a silver frame with a citation signed by Lyndon. B. Johnson
thanking me for the co-ordination of the rescue. It was presented to me at
the US embassy in Grosvenor Square. In those days we used Morse Code, not
your modern rubbish. LOL. I was also awarded the Polar Medal by Q.E.. II.
Enough about me, must make arrangements for the dynamic three. PM. NP-f35.
