Prime here) called "Keeping Up Appearances" in which an overbearing wife
with pretentions to social advancement spends her life attempting to meet
and impress important people. By marriage, she is inflicted with the
surname Bucket which, she insists, is pronounced Bouquet. Anyway, to cut
a long series short, she has a number of sisters, one of whom has a
succession of gentleman callers. We thought that it seemed a nicer way of
saying that some guy is coming round for a fuck. I may be wrong. Sorry,
must go, that's the doorbell...
