Hi Puf-n-stuff!
You surely wasn't meant. I myself am often too lazy to say thank you
and so I'm not so sad when I hear nothing to my posts.
But I am quite sulky to hear not even a thank you when a post is done
by request, that means for ONE person only. I would consider some nice
words in return to be a basic social skill.
I think not sharing on the one side and always requesting on the other
side are only the two sides of the same personality: it's quite
remarkable, that those who request almost never contribute. Those
people seem to see the posters as dumbos, whose only purpose it is to
serve requests. Quite annoying. Take 'myob' for example: do you
remember a post by him? Will he start posting? I share your opinion
that his annoying requsts are obnoxious. What I really can't
understand is, why posters are encouraging this behaviour. It's nice
for the requestor, but it maybe a repellent for other posters who
simply doesn't want to do endless reposts, to be always asked for more
and so on. That's why I post my stuff to this quiet group (and not to
asp).
