Right on PM.
I use newshosting.com as primary and easynews as secondary source and the
3rd batch I posted a little bit ago shows up in full on all their servers.
I'm sure there are a few other inexpensive servers out there also showing
all parts. It can always happen that one server misses a part or two,
that's where the PAR or PAR2 files come in handy.
Rule of thumb: 1 PAR or PAR2 for every 10 original files should be enough
to download and reconstruct the file. If anyone's server is continually
missing more than 10% of all files posted, that server is crap or their
newsreader wrongly configured and they should consider either getting help
to set up their newsreader or changing servers.
