There are only two major newsreaders for the Macintosh computer
platform, Thoth and Hogwasher. Hogwasher is a little easier to learn,
but has less options, and there is no autoposter for it. Thoth can be
very complicated to set up, but has the most advanced features, and has
many autoposters written for it.
There is a poster, who hasn't posted much in the past year due to a
developing family, who was being persecuted by someone who assumed that
all Thoth users are the same person. Are you that someone?
This is ridiculous. We are not the same. The Macintosh newsgroups are
full of Thoth posters who are actually really truthfully different
people. And nicer and more considerate than most of the people in
*these* newsgroups. And, on average, much more intelligent.
Thoth is no longer under development. The developer couldn't make a
living from his shareware programs that enable people to download
pirated software, because his software was pirated too much.
I wasn't going to post here again, but the irony of the Thoth issue
puts *you* in perspective.
YOUR opposition to the requested movie, because of the extra attention
it received because of it, contributed to the motivation to post it.
How ironic!
People *hate* being told what to do, and will even do just the opposite
to spite you.
What "big goal"? I don't know of any single "big goal" that anyone has
ever had in these newsgroups, or would be able to accomplish one if he
had an extra big one lying around, ready to be "achieved".
I haven't yet seen your other recent post to me. Based on this one, I'm
not expecting much.
