Obviously, if you do not care about PVP, then move along, nothing to
see here. :P
The answer depends on what you want to do with your character. If you
just want to get to 70, then I would say skip the
lower level PVP. Before the Honor System overhaul, you did a little
PVP to get Rank 3 for the discount and PVP Trinket. Now,
the discount is gone, and it takes much more time to get the PVP
Trinket. I don't think it is worth it.
If you aren't in a rush, then I think you can benefit from grinding a
few lower level PVP items. Developing some PVP skills
early will help when you finally do reach 70. You get to learn to kill
with your basic class skill set, and I believe that
makes it easier to add in more skills as you level up.
It isn't written anywhere that you must get to 70 as fast as possible.
Do what interests you, and you will enjoy the game
more. With this Night Elf Druid, I just happen to like stopping to
smell the Horde corpses.
