Any thoughts on a cable modem? I have a Linksys "gateway," that has
the DOCSIS modem and Wi-Fi router in the same box. I like the
convenience of being able to administer everything from a single web
page and I like the Wi-Fi performance with the aftermarket high gain
antennas that I added.
Unfortunately, it seems to drop the internet connection quite often,
necessitating a power cycle reset. I havent seen anything similar on
the market, probably for good reason. Hence I may be in the market for
both boxes.
