Canada had a great show this year; rules close to Australia's.
Sweden's show is fun to watch, too. Their sentences are 50% to 100% in English.
I recently asked a 20-year-old Swedish language student that was in the US, why do the 20-something's
mix their native tongue with so much English? His answer surprised me. He said not only is English
mandatory in school (like many countries), but that English is "cool" to speak (meaning you're being
cool when you do." But it was surprising to hear so many English words mixed in with Swedish when
they talked that I could follow their conversation! Cool people.
