chances are you have your anti-virus, such as AVG, set to automatically delete them because it sees them as potentially harmful viruses. they are usually sent to a vault and can be retrieved from there within AVG. alternatively, temporarily disable AVG when installing and using the keygen, or tell AVG it is not a virus and not to delete it.
