You pointed me to 2 places I didn't think to look. Digidesign? I don't
have anything from Digidesign. I re-did everything from scratch, and
now it's working.
Your response reminded me of the golden days of the usenet, before
there was a WWW. A few trolls, but most people were civil and helpful.
