DESCRIPTION
==================
This is a real must-have new-age album. Whether you're a veteran fan of the genre or just getting your first taste, this is a great piece of work. There's a good diversity of sounds happening in each mix, but it's not distracting or difficult-listening either.
If you have a sound system with a good-quality subwoofer, the track "Dance of the Flame," among others here, may especially impress you. The bass in many parts of this album is profound. It gently but powerfully resonates through you, bringing relaxation and relieving stress. It's not your typical bass-guitar where every pluck of every string is extremely distinct. This is a more consistent, subtly-played but powerfully-felt bass, more conducive to relaxation.
Also contributing wonderfully to the mix is the crisp, pristine clarity of the stringed instruments. They bring a sense of dignity, reverence and focused awareness to the tracks in which they appear (most noticeably in "The Magical Earth" and "Winds of Enlightenment," but also in "Dance of the Flame" to some extent.) I would recommend this album for meditation, magick, massage therapy, maybe even talk-therapy. Anything where deep relaxation is a "must."
