DESCRIPTION
==================
The first track on this CD is really marvellous, and should be enough to justify buying the CD. The premise for all the music is a description of a "journey of the heart" and life changes, encountered in travelling the valleys, rivers and natural places of the Earth. The first cut, "The Wanderer" features Govi on guitar, and is a summation of the rest of the music to follow. It starts with windchimes with a guitar and piano duet, which then gradually builds to a full landscape of sound, then winds back down into a piano solo and ends with the windchimes again. This peice alone is a real joy, and I have listened to it over and over. The rest of the CD follows in this same vein, but I found that the other cuts didn't have the haunting melody of the first track, something which makes it hard to forget. If you are only familiar with some of the re-mixes by Karunesh, such as the music on the Claude Challe compilations, on or New Earth Records, then this will not be what you expect. If you are familiar with the other music Karunesh produced on the Meistersinger (Nightengale) Music label, then you will find this familiar territory. - Indigo the Ent Wife on September 26, 2001 ; https://www.amazon.com/Wanderer-Karunesh/dp/B00005B9T9
