Try going carefully through all of TMD's posts from that day & expanding each one to show the individual files. You'll find the posts you're looking for hiding amongst some unrelated stuff.

Am curious.. having used Agent for almost 20 years... doesn't Newsbin have the
option to "sort" the display (just as one would in, for example, explorer) by
Subject, or Date or ??
Sorting by date/time "should" un clutter some things.
Admittedly I have "tried" (albeit very briefly) numerous news readers and
clients over the years... and none compare and/or offer the plethora of options
and fine tuning (customizing) as does Forte Agent.
Agent "allows" but does not default to, clumping things together (as a prep, if
opted for, automatically joining them and/or using the accompanying PARity
files). It's "cute" but those with long experience avoid this feature because
(a) it can cause the mess you are describing and (b) tests have shown that
allowing the newreader to do the joining and PARity checking is MUCH slower
than simply downloading the entire post then (with, for example), QuickPar
installed.. clicking on the Par2 file and letting QuickPar do it's thing (if
needed).
Newsbin, from my recollection, defaults to all those things that those that have
been around avoid and/or turn off ( if allowed to).
People with out a long history/background in computers are, as would be
expected, drawn like flies to anything that promises "One Click" ease.
Best bet.. from an old man... READ YOUR DOCUMENTATION then, if you can, turn OFF
all those cute little features (described above) and do a few things manually.
It may come as a shock to some newbies or millennials... but we don't live in a
ON CLICK world :(
Just my two cents worth... but, if you;re experiencing constant, repeated or
frequent problems with more than one poster... it's time to "think" about a
change.
