I think most posters wouldn't know where to begin when it comes to "standard
repertoire" -- they do better if you posted specific requests, like
"Beethoven Piano Concertos" etc.
That said, I would like to pass on a suggestion that was given to me by
someone else on this list, and that is to join the music-upload blog,
"Meeting in Music." There are both lossless and lossy (mp3) sections, and
posts are frequent--both standard repertoire and unusual stuff. It's a rare
day when I don't find something of interest. Recently, for example, all the
Mahler symphonies were posted--multiple recordings of each one, with comments
on how one version is different from another.
