I have used Forte Agent as my newsreader for many, many years, and
love it. It costs $29 for the initial license and $19 for any major
revision. Along with Agent, I use Forte's Agent Usenet costing
$2.95/month for 25 GB. They claim longest retention among other things
-- 2,744 Days  Binary Retention, 4,620 Days  Text Retention, 99% +
Completion Rate, and 100,000 +  Newsgroups. Also get free 256-bit SSL
encryption and they claim the most connections of any usenet provider.
I've been very pleased with both of Forte's products.
