Your posts are showing up more complete now. Thanks.
BTW, "trein1600" is another prolific poster who is usually perfect in
complete sets (he normally posts RAR sets with PARs, which unpack to the
MP3s, etc.) and now lately, his are woefully incomplete and corrupt. It
seems his NSP is Dutch. I don't think it's an Astraweb or Xnews thing, but
it might be some issue in the poster's news server propogating to the
downloader's news server. If it was Astraweb, everybody from all
newservers would be exhibiting the same issues; and as far as Xnews goes,
NNTP has not changed since its inception. True, Xnews does not handle NZB
files, but your Frank Zappa posts did not have NZB files anyway.
It could also be someone targeting those uploads with cancellation messages
or substituting random dummy files with the same header information -
proxied, or whatever. I was wondering if Easynews was trying to capture
some more subscriptions or what, but now your posts are now coming in very
complete.
If you get around to reposting the Frank Zappa series, I'd like to catch
that whole show, if possible. Either way, thank you for your efforts.
