The version I'm looking for is one where the lyric "No static at all
FM", was changed to "No static at all AM". If you listen to the
Youtube link you can hear it clearly.
I've heard two different stories, one that it was a KHJ DJ, and
another story that it was Dan Taylor @ WNBC who would not play the
song unless the FM was changed to AM. I can't prove the legitimacy
of either story, but I would sure like to get a CLEAN copy of the "AM"
version.
