DESCRIPTION
==================
From the back cover:
Introducing Nicholas Gunn's very first Christmas album, "A Christmas Classic." Hear one of the world's most beloved flutists breathe new life into such traditional favorites as Silent Night, Ave Maria, and Joy to the World, along with two new original compositions. These timeless melodies will conjure up memories of a fresh snowfall on Christmas morning. "A Christmas Classic" is destined to become one of your families most treasured holiday albums to be enjoyed for years to come.
------------------------------
The flute is a very soothing yet whimsical instrument perfectly suited for this great selection of holiday favorites and Nicholas Gunn is a world class musician. The artist's original tunes are also excellent. I especially like the cover of the Ave Maria, sung by an incredibly talented young lady, Holland Zander, from my home town of Rockford, Illinois. Holland is the daughter of Cheap Trick lead vocalist, Robin Zander. Need I say more? I lost my original CD and bought this to replace it. This is one of my favorite holiday albums.
