Okay, so it's short - just three tracks. And the second and third are easily the best. But this is beautifully composed chill-out, taking in psychedelic elements (trancey, bubbling synths), eastern influences (sitars, haunting vocals), and some modern, very downtempo but groove-driven basslines and percussion. The tracks build, weaving a tapestry rather than repeating the same ideas over and over. And if you're a fan of downtempo psychedelic trance (Shpongle, Eclipse, Mystery of the Yeti 1 & 2, etc - all very recommended by the way) then this is a warmer, more blissed out accompaniment. Oh yeah, you should check out 'Sky Dancing' too - also on Dakini records (Japan). Little hard to find this stuff - shame. 5 Stars, jason brookes on August 10, 2001
