Ishvara - Magik Square Of The Sun.nfo
GENERAL INFORMATION
=====================
Album: Magik Square Of The Sun
Artist: Ishvara (aka Matt Hillier & Jacqueline Kersley)
Year: 2005
Genre: New Age / Electronic / Ambient
DESCRIPTION
==================
'Ishvara' is the upbeat and more electronica based work of 'Ishq' and was originally started as a dance music project.
------------------------------------
The style "imaginary" is connected this release, which starts with the 21 minute "Nomad", a nice blend of tasty lounge like electronics which are very well produced.
The second track, clocking in at over 17 minutes, is a bit more experimental and freeform, also featuring some soft vocoder voice. The next tracks are all shorter and carry on in a dreamier, peaceful manner, avoiding to get into any flat New Age.
This is keenly manufactured spiritual down tempo techno/ambient to keep in mind which works great when listening through headphones. - Bert Strolenberg
