DESCRIPTION
==================
This album was recorded live at KLEMdag 96 and on listening to it again it is hardly surprising that his performance caused such a stir at the time. All these tracks (as far as I can see) are new though I do recognised the occasional passage. It is a fair representation of his solo career to date in the various styles covered and goes to show what a superb talent he is. For this performance he had a four piece band and to be as slick as this they must have rehearsed for hours. His previous live album 'Live Dates' was OK but this is ten times better. We have atmospheric tracks such as 'In Higher Places' and 'Under the Sun', Sequential tracks like 'Electronic Movements' and beautifully melodic numbers such as 'Touch The Guitar', 'Wild Thrills In Jungle' and 'Voices of Africa'. 'Touch The Guitar' is in fact like a lost classic from the 'Creatures' album and 'Rain in Australia' could have come straight off 'Syncode' period Software. The two final tracks 'Instinctive Traveller Parts (a) & (b)' are really designed as demonstration pieces so that each member of the band could strut their stuff. (DL)
