DESCRIPTION
==================
A very good accessible electronica album from the 80s ! In par with Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream and Synergy works. Very relaxing and enigmatic. A synthetic journey into crystal caves...
The german duo use sequenced generated loops, cosmic sounds, flute and electric guitar to create evolving magic landscapes. I think in particular of Sunny-ROM-Rise and Moonly-Twigs which are exemplary pieces of trippy psychedelic soundscapes, with keyboards and C64-like impressions. The album ends majestically with Fencing-Clouds, a floating tune reminiscent of Pink Floyd and Kraftwerk's Radio-Activity which lets the listener in the sky.
As one of the best releases from Software, Phancyful Fire should appeal to fans of electronic progressive, in particular Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze addicts! - Modrigue
