GENERAL INFORMATION
=====================
Album: Software-Visions
Artist: Software
Year: 1988 (1992 Reissue)
Genre: New Age / Electronic / Berlin-School
DESCRIPTION
==================
Life in the e-music community is full of irony. In most cases, Software (Michael Weisser) would be the performer who needed detailed liner notes to explain the concept and purpose of an album. The liner notes for Software-Visions are auf Deutsch -- in German. They provide clues to readers fluent in that language. Ironically, this is Weisser's best album by far. He blends deep sequences with deep atmospheres and melodic synth washes. There is nothing to dislike on this disc. It will appeal to fans of Klaus Schulze, Ian Boddy, Ron Boots, and Paul Ellis. - Jim Brenholts
