Description
================
Ganja Beats present their second album on Organic Records, a psychedelic dub
infusion of dubbalicious tracks which mix trance, dub and space sounds to
create a truly great album. The album is a true crossover of psytrance and dub
to chill you out but enable you to elevate into space and keep those feet
tapping. It moves easily through the classic 'Herb is Good' to the pure chill
of 'Deep Tranquility'. Light a spliff and 'Space is High'. This album shows Jake
at his finest, its sound goes back a lot further than many of today's chillout artists with clear nods to Lee Scratch Perry, King Tubby and 80s UK electro dubber Adrian Sherwood, as well as Ambient greats like The Orb. There are few actual heavy dub tracks on there, there is always an incredible sense of space and rhythm, and ultimately, the journey is very soothing and uplifting to the spirit.
