DESCRIPTION
==================
from http://www.discogs.com/N-Plane/release/46377:
this is an extremely rare work, and despite atom heart posting most of his RI and fax material on itunes, all of the +N material remains absent. i thought i would review this one because i feel it is the best of the three albums that this group (atom heart & victor sol) recorded. if i were to draw a comparision, it would be to each of these artists solo work, take a smattering of the mellow vibe of softcore by atom heart, with a heaping dose of the atmospheric, "ambient" acid techno of chlorphile fumes by victor sol (recorded under the name earcloud) and you get plane. subtle pulsings of rhythm form the underlayer as cascading and ripping keyboard chords and textures float overtop. its very mellow yes, but quite addictive once you get into the meat of the album. its an easy one to re-discover many new things going on with repeat listens, and something that still gives me goosebumps when i begin to play it. its almost a given that if you love ambient music, you should, if you havent already, be seeking out the vast majority of the early fax releases, and this one should definetly be a priority!
