Having logged well over a million miles pushing an 18 wheeler all over the West Coast back in the 70s I enjoy many of the ``good'' truckin' songs.
Unfortunately, that Nightriders CD was definitely NOT one of `em !!
My bad! I should have paid more attention to it before posting.
So... to make up for it I'm uploading a single tune y'all might get a kick out of.
Somebody commented on one of my posts a while back and used the term ``good buddy''. Now that might be just fine with East coast truckers or on all those C.W. McCall tunes that started the damned CB radio craze... but, back in the day, out here on the west coast, a ``good buddy'' was (how shall I say this) someone who leaned toward the effeminate side of things. Back then folks hadn't come out of their closets yet.
Enjoy the song... it's a keeper.
