RE Lucinda Williams 2017.txt
Bismark,
Thanks for posting this. I have the original Sweet Old World recording and thought
it was one of Lucinda's best albums. Her work in the last decade has been a bit
spotty in my opinion so I probably wouldn't have bought this album; but I hope it's
somewhat as good as the original.
Also, thanks for the Alison Krauss posts.
And, if I may offer a suggestion, 300dpi is a better resolution for scans than
600dpi. There is less chance of Moire patterns forming (the lines that form when 2
dot patterns are overlayed) and the files are smaller. HP scanners used to reccommend
150dpi for photographs and printed material; though I personally think 300dpi is needed
because the text on CD covers is rather small for 150dpi scans to be useful.
