Rovers 00 Notes.txt
According to Wikipedia the Irish Rovers is a group of Irish musicians,
half of whom now live in Canada. The Irish folk group created in 1963
and named after the traditional song "The Irish Rover" is best known
for their international television series, contributing to the
popularization of Irish Music in North America.
In 1980 the group, dropping the 'Irish', had a big country crossover hit
with Tom Paxton's Wasn't That A Party. This is a vinyl rip of the 1991
Epic Records LP (JE 37107) Wasn't That A Party. I'm posting it in the
country group because the title song was a country music hit; the LP's
really more folk than country.
