Thank you so much for the Lalande!!! Excellent Grand Motets! Some of
the best French music ever written!!
Just by coincidence I am looking for a complete recording of Lalande's
"Music for the Kings Supper" I can not find a complete recording of
Hugo Reyne's "Symphonies pour les soupers du Roy" anywhere It has been
delisted by the record company and only the extracts are available on
CD.
I am doing a study of the influence of French Music on european
cultures of that time period. Hence the need for the Lalande and
William Lawes Vol. 1 of the Royall Consort Suites.
Anyone have either of these?
