Excellent, nearly perfect, stack recording!
Minimal Audience Noise.
Near soundboard quality!
Mr. Big are a band I know only from random plays of their hits on Music Choice's 80's Rock station, Dee Snider's House Of Hair, and 1992 era MTV.
I recall goofing on their embarrassingly lame hit single, "To Be With You" during the spring of 1992 while I was in eighth grade.
I'd comically sing: "I'm the one that wants to pee on you. Deep inside, I hope you'll drink it too".
I also parodied "Just Take My Heart" with "Just Take My Fart" in the summer of 1992.
Juvenile, sure. However, I was a wise cracking teen during the golden years of Beavis and Butt-head,
and Mr. Big were considered a "Stewart band" (wimp in the Winger shirt).

Fast forward to 2017, it was announced that Mr. Big would be performing in Dallas on June 16, 2017 at Gas Monkey Live, a mid-sized concert hall in Northern Dallas.
On the same night, corporate metal titans, Metallica, would be performing at the massive AT&T Stadium, only a few miles from my home.
I was asked to tape the Mr. Big show by a HUGE fan out of Germany. This guy must be the biggest Mr. Big fan on Earth! Being that I am not a Metallica fan, I agreed to do it.
Two weeks before the concert, Gas Monkey Live had a flash sale on Mr. Big tickets. Five bucks each! You can't beat that with a stick!
I guess Metallica had attracted virtually every rock fan in the Metroplex, and sucked the air out of the proverbial room.
I bought two tickets and gave one to a friend who is also a taper. Upon entering the venue, we hung out for a while and traded war stories.
I set up my gear on the open floor in plain sight of staff, and was given no grief. My buddy thought I was a complete lunatic for doing so. He swears I am asking for trouble!
I told my pal that Donald Trump is likely to get all of us in the U.S.A., nuked in the near future, so who gives a shit?!? My friends, we need to live it up while we can!
I had never taped at Gas Monkey Live, so my friend who had, told me to stand right under one of the hanging speaker stacks in order to achieve optimum results.
I stood beneath the stack on Paul Gilbert's side of the stage. I reduced the REC level of my M10 from 7.0 to 6.0 during the intro music. This decision was a wise one.
Mr. Big's live mix was extremely LOUD and crystal clear! I was impressed by the venue's PA system and the band's musical fluidity.
There were far less than 500 fans in the audience so I had no problems getting a clean capture.
Being that I had been physically ill (serious head cold) for 5 days straight, standing still for the entire 115 minute Mr. Big performance was a challenge.
Towards the end of the night, I was slowing walking in place to prevent from passing out...
While I knew that within Mr. Big's ranks were some of the best hard rock players in the business, including Billy Sheehan of the legendary Eat Em And Smile band, I wasn't aware that
Mr. Big had such a diverse catalog at their disposal. In my opinion, several of Mr. Big's tunes would fit in well on the cliched teen/young adult dramas that Fox used to air in the early 1990s...
Which Mr. Big albums would you recommend to a hard rocker like me? Please feel free to rank each Mr. Big album, and I'll PURCHASE each one, and check them out as time allows.
Mr. Big won me over on this hot summer night! In my opinion, their sound is a healthy blend of Van Halen style hard rock and Journey's impeccable harmonies.
I will tape Mr. Big again in the future. They are nowhere near as lame as their early 90's presence on MTV made them out to be...
If you only download one Mr. Big audience capture in your lifetime, this recording should be it!!

HELP: Does anyone else out there own the TP Link Archer C5400 Tri-Band MU-MIMO Wireless AC5400 Gigabit Router?
I am using it with a Windows 10 machine and am unable to properly open ports for torrenting. I use qBitorrent 3.3.13 as my client.
I have plenty of experience properly opening ports on routers in the past. However, I can't figure out how to properly open ports on the Archer C5400 Tri-Band MU-MIMO Wireless AC5400 Gigabit Router.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!
IMPORTANT NOTE: I'm new to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and am eager to meet new friends who would be interested in attending (and taping) rock shows together.
If you'd like to join the taping community, please let me know...
Going to concerts with friends is MUCH MORE FUN!
I'm a full-time student at the moment.
I'm looking for an enjoyable part time job in Arlington to make a few extra bucks on the side.
Let me tape your band in DFW! Reasonable rates and quick turn around!
I'll tape ANYTHING for a price...
URGENT: I am interested in taping the Guns N' Roses performances at the Alamodome in San Antonio on September 8, 2017, as well as at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on November 17, 2017.
However, I am NOT interested in spending $300 to see Guns N' Roses AGAIN!
If you have an extra ticket to spare, please keep me in mind. Thank you!!
REQ: An uncompressed capture of the Bad Company Dallas, TX 2016-09-08 AXS TV broadcast.
