Hmmm... spoke too soon. Just checked my provider and they have
modified the plans so the upload speed would be 5Mbs although the
download speed would be 30Mbs vs. 35Mbs but I'd take that trade off,
(I mean seriously 30 vs 35 Mbs... who would ever know the
difference?).
So omit my whine about upload speeds. Next upgrade will improve
things, (upgrade is based on me wanting to have a second fully
functional modem backup as this one is purchased and if it dies I am
off the Internet for a week so get a new one and keep this one in case
of trouble... the purchased modem is the only weak link in buying 3rd
party Internet as the big players can get you a replacement in 24
hours). And the pricing has changed downwards so your recommendation
of UNS would in fact result in a $200 cash positive effect.
