Typically Blaxploitation focuses on overt American racism. The police
are corrupt and violent, the Government, the Mafia and even black
gangs are problematic but what about the elephant in the room? The Ku
Klux Klan, (and no Mjello that is not Latin for a rude dinner guest -
Ku, Klux, Klan = he came, he ate, he left).
There are some references to the KKK in Blaxploitation but not nearly
to the extent that one would expect. Thus enters Brotherhood of Death
where we get to see a bunch of Black Vietnam Vets take on those guy
with the cum stained pillow cases over their heads.
