Let's see... Ganja and Hess... yes Ganja and Hess.
I am going to go on a limb here and suggest that the director may have
thought that this film might be his 'chance' to move up a peg or two
in the Hollywood food chain. It was very possible in the late
60's-early 70's for a director of a porno, as long as it wasn't too
hardcore, to be discovered by Hollywood as someone who produced an
uncut diamond from piece of coal. Lee Frost and Russ Meyer were both
offered serious big screen options but just couldn't wrap their hands
around executive creative control over their project,
I can only presume that this was the basis for this film which
seemingly is a horror-softcore film and achieves neither. It's just
one of those films you have watch for yourself and come to your own
opinion.
