The year is 1974 and Blaxploitation is becoming a bit more mainstream
and now has its own burgeoning star system. The film is more of the
starndard fare only we begin to the emergence of higher quality black
talent raising the bar for the genre. In this work we get to see
Isaac Hayes, (pre-Scientology), Nichelle Nichols, (post Star Trek),
and Yaphet Kotto, (really kicking off both his Blaxploitation and
mainstream career).
