Can you believe there was a Mr. T. before Mr. T.?
Mr. T. in this case is Mr. Trouble Man... and he pities the fool who
doesn't like his film!
In point of fact Trouble Man is a pretty good film. The only aspect I
find lacking, as much for realism as anything else, was the lack of
women at the dice games and the forced stripping of the victims. I
have NO IDEA why but this practice was almost an automatic in the
Harlem and LA worlds when the robbing of an illegal game occured. You
see it referenced in some of the films I have uploaded and even Dave
Chapelle has that instance. No idea why they did it unless it was
some combination of trying to diminish the chance of being followed
and/or some power-humilation concept.
You will also note the appearanaces of Gordon Jump pre: WKRP in
Cincinatti fame.
