What we have here is a series of short shot on video vignettes depicting
faux snuff scenes. Most are hilariously bad, a couple are actually at least
remotely well executed. The flick starts off dramatically proclaiming that:
"What you are about to see is true and contains actual depictions of torture,
murder, and suicide. You may think you have seen such things already in news
footage of war and crime, but what I'm talking about has never been seen
before. What you are about to see is SNUFF."
...but concludes, with its tail firmly planted between its legs, by saying:
"All of the characters depicted here were created and do not exist. Any
resemblance to real people living or dead is purely coincidental. All of the
actors who participated in this production are over the age of 18. No human
being was actually harmed or killed during the making of this motion picture."
So yeah, like anything else that purports to be 'snuff', this shit's all fake,
and no real snuff has ever been found to exist. (Snuff being a filmed act of
murder of a person made and distributed for the purpose of entertainment and/or
a profit motive...not just random 'real death caught on camera' footage).
Anyway this obscure compilation's claim to fame is that a few years ago the
opening scene from this flick was passed around as 'real snuff' footage
online, you'll undoubtedly recognize these two screenies:

http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/5574/snf06.jpg
You can still find the excerpt circulating under titles like
"real_snuff_film.wmv", and there's even a "Certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst"
who came to the obvious conclusion anyone who's not a total fucking gullible
moron should have arrived at on their own:
"I had been asked several times to evaluate a short video segment which has
been distributed on the internet. The video appears to show an actual homicide
in which a woman is shot at close range. While the video segment was produced
with some skill, there are several significant flaws which I believe, indicate
that this was not an actual homicide but a staged scene which has also been
digitally altered."
You can read his frame-by-frame analysis here: http://tinyurl.com/y9lfgtr
But yeah...this scene actually stars Pamela Sutch, who's appeared in such
classics as Rana, Queen of the Amazon (http://cinemageddon.org/details.php?id=66299)
and Psycho Sisters (http://cinemageddon.org/details.php?id=38977), and was taped
at WAVE studios who distribute this and other such schlock.
Also of interest is that one segment in this shit was directed by William
Hellfire (the brain behind such timeless classics as I Was a Teenage Strangler;
Silk Stocking Strangler; International Necktie Strangler; I, Asphyxia: The
Electric Cord Strangler III; and last but not least, Vampire Strangler) and
apparently has Misty Mundae in it.
If you like this sort of thing, you'll naturally also want to check out the
first compilation if you haven't done so yet:

What's particularly interesting is that the vignette in the first one that
involves one guy strangling another guy in someone's living room is also
present in this second compilation, albeit with the key difference being
that the roles are now reversed! That is, in the first compilation the guy
in the brown shirt chockes the guy in the checkered shit; while in this one
it is the guy in the checkered shirt choking the guy in the brown one :P.
And for yet more of these sorts of amateur faux snuff vids, check out Snuff
Files (http://cinemageddon.org/details.php?id=11713).
Starring: Pamela Sutch, Paige Turner, Tina Krause, Misty Mundae, Liz
Bathory, Kerry Bolt, etc...
Director: Various (William Hellfire, Rob Manrique, etc...)
Year: 1999
subtitles
The film is in English, with no subs.
notes
I got this flick on a compilation DVDR that had something like 4 hours of
video crammed onto it, so I decided that it'd be pointless to make an XviD
of this since it's a 2-hour film that would result in a 1.46 gig AVI, whereas
the VOBs were only 2 gigs in the first place...so not much point in converting.
Enjoy the fake snuff!
Please do share this film on other trackers, usenet, ed2k, and everywhere else.
