Thank you very much for your detailled explanation. I am not exactly a batch pro, but i knew there was several ways do
do it.
Anyway, I found what I believe to be a much easier way using a freeware program for renaming files :)
It only works on windows that I know of.
the program is ReNamer, and if you want to give it a try you can download it here:

You only need to:
1. add a rule for prefix files with ..\. (you can have it saved as a preset)
2. select the mask of files to *.jp* or whatever extensions you want to move (can be saved with the preset)
3. drag and drop the root folder of the model
Easy as a pie! :)
You can make the most "weird" DOS like movings, renaming, etc, just adding prefixes with relative or absolute file
pathes. Incredible feature for such a small proggy.
It also can rename/move folders as if they were files.
I think is the best option I found so far.
