Hi Lou,
I'm using Windows Vista and it's a Western Digital 2tb Cavier Green hard
drive. I use it externally.
Once I had a WD my book external 500gb that got hit by lightening. I
took the enclosure apart and got the hard drive out and plugged it into
a new external enclosure and it worked again :)
