That's how all apps are on OS X, light years ahead of windoze. My
Client will groups all the sets, download them only grabbing the par
blocks it needs to repair any bad files, join the files back together.
It also posts the binaries spliting larger files and creating the par2
sets so you don't need 2 different news apps plus the other utilities
for most cases.
Sorry Unison does not have a windoze version.
OS X was Steve Job's NeXT OS version of BSD that he was working on when
he went back to Apple that had the first drag and drop functions in an
OS so all apps function that way.
If I want to attach a file to an email to send somewhere I simply drag
the file to my email app in the dock and a new mail opens with the file
attached ready. I could also drag a webpage link, email address, etc...
If I want to convert a movie I drag it to the Handbrake app in the
Dock, If I want to most things I can do so by dragging files to the app
on the Dock or my Desktop link.
No more worries about virus or malware, I do scan like once a month but
only find windows stuff in my mbox that cannot harm my box and I scan
files that could contain a trojan before I share it with windoze users.
You already have an iPhone and an iPad so it is past time you made the
switch on your computer as well.
