While I see the strategy in this move. The group does indeed have a charter. It may not have been posted recently but it does exist. As far as moderators, Collector has been moderating this group for many years. And outside of a temporary squabble between Tatjana longnights, Duke, and few others that was settled long ago the group has been running smoothly since. Yes we do have the problem of those spammers, most groups do. But, they serve their purpose just like flies on a dead carcass. I think that rather than jumping into this new charter you have proposed, that we should give Collector a little more time. He was IMO a very respected member of not only this group but the internet on a whole.
That being said, for now I reject your proposal for this charter and ask that you submit a new one and let the group vote on it, and if need be a replacement for Collector. The one person that I am quite sure everyone looks to as our moderator.
