Hello,
IMHO, I dont touch anything except Seagate Hard Drives, ST1000VX000
(1tB) CV22 firmware. They are more expensive, yes, but are designed
for 24 hours 7 days use, for video survelience work, etc.
I, personally have had no problems, at all, and ive gone thru about 50
of them!

For some reason I expected this one to go. It's actually how I ended up here. I was going to move my Vlad collection to a new HDD. I figured I'd update while I was at it. Found some errors or missing sets and went to a forum to update. Got disgusted at what they were posting and came here. Thank you Collector. Any one have suggestions on a good "sturdy" hard drive. I've tried most of them.
