I have also had problems with WD Green disks. I usually buy WD RE (Enterprise)
but they're very expensive. I'll propably switch to Hitachi/HGST. I've heard and
read lots of good stuff about them. But backup is recommended anyway. And don't
move them around too much. Especially not when they're on. That's when they're
at their most vulnerable.
