This is unimportant as far as size goes. What _is_ important is how the
format behaves.
If it is not possible to extract a sample from a split SITx archive where
you only have access to the first part, then its usefulness on Usenet is
questionable.
And please, no self-extracting crap! Not everybody uses windoze, and
broken virus infestations like that.
